Pride weekend has started...

Which means that DH and I are going to be bombarded with techno beat music all weekend, from noon (well, from about 5pm today) till midnight. It's the big gay/lesbian pride parade weekend. I think tomorrow's the dyke march, and Sunday's the gay parade. Apparently tonight's the transsexual march. Some wild costumes/outfits will abound. There will be lots of (loud) partying and drinking going on. And of course we just happen to live right in the middle of the gaybourhood. Yay. My mother almost went nuts 5 years ago this weekend when she helped me move into my new apartment when I started residency.
Other than that, not much news here. Still not-so-enjoying the vag tabs. Not much in the way of tender boobs. I'm sleeping a lot, but that's nothing new. 6 more sleeps till beta! I really hope we get a good strong number back on Thursday.

Thanks for all the information. I've chilled out a little bit since my post. Good luck with your upcoming beta- you have less than a week to go!

I've been there sistah. I used to live in the Castro district of San Francisco. What a blast when pride covers the neighborhood. Have fun and enjoy the techno. Best wishes for good numbers in 6 mere days.

It's too bad I hate techno! It's about the only music I don't like. Well, besides house. I'd be much more sympathetic if I didn't know I've got to survive over 30 hours of this crap!

Pride weekend sounds like a load of crazy fun mania - but i understand the techno beats can get pretty tiring after a number of hours! Six more sleeps yay!
