Our little baby seems all grown up these days. Out of diapers since 22.5 months, in her big girl bed since the end of June.
She's talking so much more these days and really telling stories when she speaks. Tonight at dinner, she started talking about seeing a snail outside at her house, with a broken shell. (Ich habe eine Schnecke gesehen bei K's Haus. Kaputtes Haus.) Then she said she hoped Mama and Papa snail were around (to take care of the broken snail). (Mama Schnecke und Papa Schnecke da) And proceeded to sing a bit of Twinkle Twinkle. When she stopped singing, she said now the snail wasn't so sad. (Schnecke nicht mehr traurig.) It was so sweet.
I hope she'll always keep this level of empathy for others.

Very, very precious. So good to capture these little stories, too. Out of diapers + big girl bed = VERY big girl!
