22 months!

It's so hard to believe K is 22 months old today. My baby will be 2 in 2 more months. I'm super tired so I'll keep this short. K's so funny these days. This evening, she insisted on getting DH's wallet ("Geld haben" = have money), and then proceeded to have him help her stuff it down the back of her pants (like he always puts it in his back pocket). Later on, she pulled it out and started pulling out his driver's licence, his credit card etc. She pitched a little fit when he got nervous and wanted to have it back.
K's so loving with her stuffed animals and with us these days. I got the hugest kiss and hug when I got home (late) from work. She's always kissing and hugging her baby (doll). After I said that we'd have to wash baby's feet soon because they're getting dirty, she took her into the bathroom, climbed on her stool at the sink, and started to try to get soap to clean baby's feet. She was not impressed when I said that we should do it another day because otherwise baby would be wet and she couldn't have her to sleep at night.
Her vocab continues to expand rapidly, and she will say an occasional 3 word sentence. She's willing to repeat pretty much anything you say, and her pronunciation is becoming clearer. If you ask her what colour something is, she'll sometimes get it right. If you ask how many of something there are in a book, she inevitably says "vier" (= four). If you have her help you count them (after you tell her she's wrong), she'll count "eins, zwei, vier", skipping "drei" (=three) entirely. It's pretty funny, and reminds me a lot of when she kept insisting rabbits were called mice a few weeks ago. She's one stubborn little girl!
